Job summary

Qualifications

• Hold a UK bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
• No prior teaching experience required.
• Strong communication and organisational skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Year 1: Build classroom confidence as a cover supervisor and deliver pre‑pared lessons.
• Manage behaviour and student engagement alongside experienced teachers.
• Observe and learn teaching strategies while receiving regular training.
• Year 2: Train to teach through PGCE + QTS and gain continued school-based experience.
• Plan and deliver lessons with increasing independence under mentoring.
