Job summary

Pink Tile Education is working with a welcoming school in Worthing that is looking to appoint a full-time Teaching Assistant to provide 2:1 support for a Year 10 student with SEMH needs. You will join an experienced Teaching Assistant and help the student continue to grow emotionally and academically, building trust, consistency and the strategies to stay engaged in learning.

Qualifications

Teaching Assistant – 2:1 Support (SEMH)

Location: Worthing, West Sussex
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (Term Time Only)
Pay: £100 per day
Contract: Full-Time | Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

Pink Tile Education is working with a welcoming and supportive school in Worthing that is looking to appoint a full-time Teaching Assistant to provide 2:1 support for a Year 10 student with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

This role is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside an experienced Teaching Assistant, supporting a student who has made incredible progress over the past year. While she has previously experienced periods of emotional dysregulation, she has come a long way and is now engaging much more positively in school. The successful candidate will play an important role in helping her continue this positive journey.

The focus of this role is building trust, maintaining consistency, and providing the encouragement and reassurance needed for the student to continue developing both emotionally and academically. Working closely with the existing Teaching Assistant and wider school team, you'll help implement strategies that support emotional regulation, confidence and engagement in learning.

What You'll Be Doing
