Job Opportunity: 1st Line IT Support Technician

As a 1st Line IT Support Technician, you will be the first point of contact for all client inquiries, providing exceptional technical support and troubleshooting IT issues. Work involves Windows cloud-based systems, so understanding Office365 is essential.

You will benefit from working within a small, friendly team with personalized training to ensure your success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting customers across the South of England, troubleshooting issues, and monitoring systems.
  • Providing 1st line support via phone and remote access, with occasional site visits.
  • Working with cloud-based systems.
  • Administering and troubleshooting Microsoft Office, Windows 10, and 11.
  • Developing a deeper understanding of involved technologies.
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in an IT Support role, meeting targets and SLAs.
  • Good knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11, and Microsoft Office/Office365.
  • Experience with SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams administration and troubleshooting.
  • A team player who enjoys supporting colleagues and clients.
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of printers.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to diagnose faults and find solutions while maintaining customer relationships.
  • Follow procedures and documentation accurately.
  • User administration of Microsoft Server and Office365.
  • Basic understanding of networking protocols and devices (e.g., Draytek, Zyxel).
  • A clean driving license and vehicle for occasional client site visits.
