Job summary

Booker is seeking delivery drivers to work locally, joining a team responsible for delivering to regular customers and keeping shelves stocked. This 7-day operation may include weekend shifts and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

You will drive locally, build relationships with customers, and ensure on-time deliveries with high service standards. Full driver duties with paperwork accuracy are required.

Qualifications

• Cat C / 18T Licence.
• Previous driving experience of at least two years.
• Delivery driving experience preferred.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good level of literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Make sure customers' shelves are kept full and stock is loaded into the vehicle at the Branch.
• Unload deliveries at customer premises and complete paperwork accurately.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

This is a 7 day operation, our shift patterns may include some weekend working.

You will be responsible for

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You'll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You'll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

• Cat C / 18T Licence
• Previous experience of driving (at least two years)
• Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred
• Ability to carry out manual deliveriesExcellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude
• Good level of literacy and numeracy
