Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, highly motivated Professional to join our SEQOHS-accredited Occupational Health and Wellbeing service based at Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

The role will primarily be based at our service on The Rotherham Hospital NHS Foundation Trust site and will involve promoting positive mental health in the workplace, advising managers on mental health issues such as anxiety, stress, and depression.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team of professionals to ensure key mental, occupational health, and wellbeing objectives are achieved.

Main duties of the job

The Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service is responsible for assisting managers in delivering the Trust's objectives, particularly:

  1. Delivering specialist OH advice within the Trust and to external client groups as per agreed contracts and Service Level Agreements.
  2. Promoting Occupational Health and Wellbeing within the Trust and maintaining good relationships with all client groups related to this post.
  3. Responding to professional developments in Occupational, Mental Health, and Wellbeing Practice, as well as Health and Safety Legislation.
  4. Developing policies to communicate legal requirements effectively and minimize health and safety risks.
