Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is seeking Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to join our UK projects. You will set up temporary traffic lights, manage traffic flow, and read CAD traffic management drawings on busy road sites.

Ideal candidates have a Lantra 12D M5 qualification, experience in traffic management, and the ability to work with both direct and subcontract labour. Right to Work in the UK and a Drugs & Alcohol check may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in traffic management operations.
• Able to read CAD traffic management drawings.
• 12D M5 Lantra qualification required.
• Right to Work in UK.
• Drugs & Alcohol test passability.

Responsibilities

• Set up temporary traffic lights at roads as required.
• Manage traffic flow at temporary lights and ensure public compliance.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Coordinate with direct and subcontract labour to meet targets.
• Ensure safety in accordance with RAMS and Health & Safety at Work Act.
• Report issues to site or operations manager promptly.
• Assist with unloading/loading of materials as needed.
• Check and report plant and vehicle defects.
• Assist with traffic diversions when required.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK and we are constantly recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both Operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M5 Operative

Scope of Role:

Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
• Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
