Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives for UK sites, including M5 operations. The role involves setting up traffic lights, managing traffic flow, and reading traffic management drawings where required. You must pass a Drugs & Alcohol check and have the Right to Work in the UK.

Ideal candidates will have experience in traffic management and be able to work in a team to meet safety, quality and time targets across direct and sub-contract labour.

Qualifications

• Experience in one or more traffic management roles.
• Ability to read and interpret traffic management plans and CAD drawings isn't required but is advantageous.
• Must be able to pass Drugs & Alcohol checks and have Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Set up temporary traffic controls at sites to manage traffic flow safely.
• Maintain traffic management equipment and report defects promptly.
• Work with direct and sub-contract labour to meet targets and deadlines.
• Comply with Health & Safety at Work Act and RAMS.
• Be able to work as part of a team and communicate effectively on site.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK and we are constantly recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both Operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M5 Operative

Scope of Role:

Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
• Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
