Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives in the UK. The role involves setting up temporary traffic lights, controlling traffic flow, and reading CAD traffic management drawings.

You will work with direct labour and sub-contract teams to meet deadlines and maintain safety standards. Candidates should have Traffic Management experience, be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol check, have the 12D M5 Lantra qualification, and have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in traffic management operations.
• Ability to work as part of a team and take direction.

Responsibilities

• Set up temporary traffic lights where required.
• Manage the traffic flow at temporary signals and ensure public safety.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintain and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Report issues to site or operations manager.
• Ensure safe working practices in line with RAMS and Health & Safety at Work Act.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both Operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M5 Operative

Scope of Role:

Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
• Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
