Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to join a growing team serving major UK traffic management clients.

Duties include setting up temporary traffic lights, managing traffic flow at lights, reading and interpreting CAD drawings, reporting issues to site or operations managers, and ensuring Health & Safety compliance at all times. A valid driving licence and Lantra TM qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Lantra TM qualifications or equivalent is required.
• Must pass Drugs & Alcohol check.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Set up temporary traffic lights at roads as required.
• Manage traffic flow at temporary lights and ensure public compliance.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Report issues to site or operations manager.
• Maintain and remove traffic management within required time scales.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in RAMS.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M1 / M2 Operative
  

Scope of Role:

Qualified M1/M2 Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
  Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
