Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to support major UK traffic management projects. The role involves setting up temporary traffic lights, managing traffic flow, and ensuring safety and compliance on site.

Qualified operatives should hold Lantra TM qualifications, pass a drugs/alcohol check, have the right to work in the UK, and hold a full UK driving licence with up to six points. You will work with direct and subcontract labour to meet targets.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications.
• Ability to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Full UK Driving Licence with up to 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Set up temporary traffic lights at roads as required.
• Manage traffic flow at temporary signals and ensure public compliance.
• Report issues to site or operations manager.
• Be reliable with a good attitude to work and team.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintain and remove traffic management within deadlines.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M1 / M2 Operative
  

Scope of Role:

Qualified M1/M2 Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
  Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
