Job summary

Pinson TM Limited are recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives in the UK. We work with some of the largest traffic management clients and have increased work, prompting expansion of the team.

We seek operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience, including M1/M2 roles, able to read CAD traffic management drawings, and to ensure safety and compliance with RAMS and Health & Safety at Work Act. Full UK Driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications.
• Compliance with drugs and alcohol policy.
• Right to Work in the UK confirmed.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required.
• Managing the traffic flow at the temporary lights and ensuring the public abide by this.
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager.
• Reading and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and removing traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• Ensuring the team works safely and effectively to achieve required output and quality.
• Adhering to Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Being aware of and complying with RAMS.
• Assisting with unloading/loading of materials.
• Following Method Statements and Risk Assessments for safe practices.
• Reporting plant and vehicle defects.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M1 / M2 Operative
  

Scope of Role:

Qualified M1/M2 Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
  Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
