Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting for Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to join our expanding team across the UK. We work with some of the largest traffic management clients and have multiple roles for operatives and drivers who have traffic management experience, with opportunities for progression and ongoing training.

Duties include setting up temporary traffic lights, controlling traffic flow, interpreting CAD drawings, reporting issues to site or operations managers, and

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications.
• Ability to pass a Drugs and Alcohol Check.
• Right to Work in the UK and a full UK driving licence (max 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights on roads as required.
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights and ensuring the public abides by this.
• Reading and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and removing traffic management within required time scales.
• Setting up and removing traffic lights as needed.
• Assisting with diversion of traffic.
• Ensuring the team works safely and efficiently to meet quality standards.
• Reporting plant and vehicle defects and safety concerns.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK, and due to an increase in work, we are recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M1 / M2 Operative
  

Scope of Role:

Qualified M1/M2 Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
  Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
