Job summary

Pinson TM Limited invites applications for Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives across the UK. This is a great opportunity to join a leading traffic management provider working with major clients.

Key duties include setting up and managing temporary traffic signals, reading CAD drawings, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Candidates should hold Lantra qualifications and a Full UK Driving licence (no more than 6 points) and be able to pass drugs and alcohol checks.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications.
• Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check.
• Right to Work in UK.
• Full UK Driving licence (with no more than 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights as required.
• Manage traffic flow at temporary signals and ensure public compliance.
• Report any necessary issues to the site or operations manager.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintain and remove traffic management within set time scales.
• Assist with the diversion of traffic.
• Ensure the team works safely and to required quality.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M1 / M2 Operative
  

Scope of Role:

Qualified M1/M2 Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
  Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
