Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives in the UK. You will work with direct labour and sub-contract labour to meet targets and deadlines on site, ensuring quality and safety throughout the shift.

Qualified operatives will read CAD traffic management drawings, set up traffic lights, and manage traffic flow while staying compliant with Health & Safety at Work. A valid UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications required.
• Ability to pass Drugs and Alcohol checks.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Set up temporary traffic lights at roads required.
• Manage the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this.
• Report anything necessary to site or operations manager.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintain and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights and assisting with diversions as needed.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in RAMS.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK, and due to an increase in work, we are recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M1 / M2 Operative
  

Scope of Role:

Qualified M1/M2 Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
  Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
