Job summary

Pinson TM Limited, a leading UK traffic management company, is recruiting for Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives and M1/M2 Operatives. Responsibilities include setting up temporary traffic lights, managing traffic flow, reading CAD drawings, and adhering to health and safety standards.

Experience in traffic management and a valid driving licence are preferred. The role may involve coordinating with direct and sub-contract teams, aiming for safe, efficient traffic control on site

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications.
• Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check.
• Right to Work in UK.
• Full UK Driving licence (with no more than 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required.
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this.
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager.
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights and assisting with traffic diversions.
• Ensuring the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve output and quality.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK, and due to an increase in work, we are recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M1 / M2 Operative

Scope of Role:

Qualified M1/M2 Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required


• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this


• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager


• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work


• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.


• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.


• Setting up traffic lights.


• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.


• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.


• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.


• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.


• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.


• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments.


• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
