Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting for Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives across the UK. The role involves setting up and managing temporary traffic lights, reading CAD traffic management drawings, and ensuring safe, compliant operations on site.

Ideal candidates will have Lantra traffic management qualifications, a valid UK driving licence with up to six points, and the ability to pass a drugs and alcohol check. A strong work ethic and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications required.
• Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check.
• Right to Work in UK.

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required.
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights and ensuring the public abide by this.
• Reading and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and removing traffic management within the required time scales.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects and any safety concerns to site or operations manager.
• Assisting with unloading/loading of materials and ensuring safe working practices.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act and RAMS.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M1 / M2 Operative

Scope of Role:

Qualified M1/M2 Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required


• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this


• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager


• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work


• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.


• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.


• Setting up traffic lights.


• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.


• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.


• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.


• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.


• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.


• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments.


• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
