Job summary

Valeo Foods UK is seeking an experienced Site Planner to join our Norwich site on a 12-month fixed term contract, to ensure smooth flow of planning information and materials across the site. The role covers master data management, planning across raw materials to finished goods, and close collaboration with Supply Chain, Production, Procurement and Finance to drive improvements.

Strong Excel skills and experience with planning systems (IFS) are highly beneficial, with a proactive, data-driven

Qualifications

• Experience in site, production, supply or material planning within FMCG.
• Strong understanding of the relationship between raw materials, production and finished goods.
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly with large data sets and master data.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with planning systems; experience with IFS is beneficial.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders at different levels.
• Proactive, ownership-driven approach to drive activity.

Responsibilities

• Owning and maintaining master data across planning and supply chain processes.
• Collaborating with raw material and finished goods planning to support production planning.
• Using IFS and Excel to analyse information, identify issues and support decision-making.
• Engaging with stakeholders across site and wider business (Supply Chain, Production, Procurement, Finance, Quality).
• Supporting site and business projects to deliver improvements and new ways of working.
• Identifying opportunities to improve planning processes, data accuracy and efficiency.
• Investigating issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
• Providing timely information to support operational and commercial decisions.
• Taking ownership of key planning activities and meeting deadlines.
