Job summary

SSE's Thermal business is offering a 12-month Engineering Year in Industry internship for civil, electrical or mechanical engineering students. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to engineering projects and asset management across SSE.

Open to second or third year students, you will be mentored, receive structured development opportunities and support from colleagues.

Qualifications

• Currently studying towards a degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Year in Industry internship for 12 months as part of your degree.
• Second or third year students eligible to apply.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering, asset management and project activities across SSE's Thermal business.
• Assist with engineering projects, technical problem-solving and maintenance tasks.
