Job summary

Buffalo Rock Company in Birmingham, AL is seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Technician to support the Pepsi and Keurig Dr Pepper bottling operations. The role requires hands-on maintenance of motors, conveyors, and production equipment on 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

You will diagnose mechanical faults, perform repairs, welding, and light fabrication, follow GMP food-safety practices, and ensure equipment runs safely and reliably.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years experience in manufacturing maintenance required.
• Industrial electrician experience preferred.
• Multi-craft industrial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery and production equipment using hand and power tools, per diagrams and manuals.
• Observe equipment in operation to locate causes of trouble and perform corrective actions.
• Dismantle devices to access defective parts and replace or repair components.
• Set up and operate basic metalworking tools to fabricate or repair components.
• Follow GMP food safety practices and report potential issues.
