Overview

11027 - We are looking to recruit a Zero Hour Prescription Delivery Driver to work on a 12-month fixed term contract at our 501 branch at 14 Whalley Place, Lytham St Annes, FY8 3PU. To potentially cover 501, 503 and 453 when regular driver on leave.

Opening hours for our branch are Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00. We are looking for an individual who is flexible to work within these branch opening times, who has great people skills and the desire to provide a professional service standard to both our customers and the Pharmacy Teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescription items promptly and conscientiously to private houses, nursing and residential homes, while providing a high standard of customer service and acting as an ambassador for the Cohens brand.
• Work under pressure to deliver the prescriptions within the designated time.
• Ensure prescription items are delivered in line with the company’s regulated procedures through attention to detail.
• Plan and print daily routes in branch before starting deliveries (basic computer skills required).
• Assist with PR exercises to increase business (as required).
• Use own vehicle for role; personal insurance must allow business use. Contact insurer prior to interview. Business insurance refers to vehicle only.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Very good people skills; ability to work as part of a well-established team and maintain a high standard of service.
• Basic computer skills for route planning and printing.
• Own vehicle and eligible business use insurance as described; willing to provide documentation if required.
• DBS check as part of recruitment process (roles subject to DBS).
