Job summary

Moore Teachers Ltd is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 6 pupil in a good-rated primary academy. You will work closely with the class teacher and SEND team to support learning, focus, and progress in a welcoming environment.

The ideal candidate will have SEND experience, be patient and proactive, build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents, and help the child thrive academically and socially within a positive behaviour framework.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with attention and concentration difficulties.
• Patience, adaptability and proactive approach in the classroom.
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 6 pupil.
• Support a child with potential ADHD who does not have high-level needs.
• Encourage engagement, focus and confidence in class.
• Work with the class teacher and SEND team to support learning and progress.
• Promote positive behaviour and independence.
