Job summary

Moore Teachers is working with an Ofsted-rated Outstanding primary school to recruit a Learning Support Assistant. You will provide 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil and collaborate with the class teacher to support learning and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will have experience with children with social, emotional, or behavioural needs, be calm and resilient, patient and proactive, and capable of building strong relationships with pupils and staff to help every child reach their potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil.
• Support a child currently in social care.
• Build a positive relationship to encourage engagement, confidence and progress.
• Work closely with the class teacher and wider support team.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing throughout the day.
