Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated TP Tutors 1:1 Tutor in Nottingham NG5 to provide personalised tuition for primary and secondary learners. This part-time role fits weekdays during school hours with pay of £25–£30 per hour+, paid weekly via PAYE.

Requirements include at least 1 year of UK teaching/tutoring, SEN experience, DBS (or willingness to obtain) and right to work in the UK. Ongoing support from a TP Tutors consultant and regular long-term tuition opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year's UK teaching or tutoring experience.
• Experience working with Primary and Secondary-aged learners.
• SEN experience.
• Strong subject knowledge in one or more core subjects.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition sessions.
• Plan lessons according to each child's individual learning needs and abilities.
• Support learners in core subjects such as English, Maths and Science.
• Adapt lessons to suit different learning styles, including pupils with SEN.
• Build confidence, motivation and independent learning skills.
• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
