Job summary

TP Tutors in Towcester is seeking experienced 1:1 tutors to deliver personalised tuition to learners across Towcester and surrounding areas. Roles cover primary, secondary, GCSE, Functional Skills and SEND, with sessions at homes, schools and community venues during school hours and beyond as needed.

Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities are available, with travel between tuition locations and ongoing assignments.

Qualifications

A minimum of two years' UK teaching or tutoring experience.
Experience teaching Primary, Secondary, GCSE, Functional Skills or SEND.
Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
Full UK driving licence or ability to travel between locations.
Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition tailored to each learner's needs.
Teach across age groups from primary to adult learners.
Plan and deliver lessons aligned to learner curricula or levels.
Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs, including SEND where appropriate.
Monitor progress and complete session reports after each lesson.
Build positive relationships with learners, families, schools and partner organisations.
Encourage learners to build confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning.
