Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking experienced educators to provide flexible 1:1 tuition across North Tyneside and online. You will tailor sessions to individual learners, helping them re-engage with education and progress toward personal targets.

Ideal candidates will have tutoring or teaching experience, with knowledge of the curriculum and strong communication skills to build trusted relationships with students and families.

Qualifications

• Previous teaching, tutoring or educational support experience.
• Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.
• Understanding of primary and/or secondary curriculum.
• Ability to adapt sessions to individual learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised 1:1 tuition sessions around each learner's needs.
• Deliver tutoring face-to-face and/or online depending on the student.
• Re-engage learners with education and track progress toward targets.
