Job summary

Teaching Personnel is looking for tutors to support students with SEN in Margate and surrounding areas. You will design personalised sessions, adapt teaching strategies, and collaborate with families and schools to help learners reach their full potential.

Roles offer flexible hours (part-time or full-time) with pay at £25 per hour. Ongoing SEND-focused training and CPD opportunities, plus support from a dedicated consultant, are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN/SEND needs.
• Background in tutoring, teaching, mentoring, youth work, or similar roles.
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices and responsibilities.
• Ability to travel within Margate and neighbouring areas.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver personalised tuition sessions based on learner needs.

• Encourage learner engagement, independence, and self-confidence.
• Monitor and document academic progress and achievements.
