Job summary

East Worlington Primary School is seeking a combined role in the support team, pairing 1:1 teaching assistant work with a mealtime assistant post on a temporary basis. The core of the work is supporting a Reception pupil with additional needs, then supervising that pupil at lunch. Hours are split across the school day over four days, with scope to move to five.

Enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK are required, and visa sponsorship is not available.

• Full enhanced DBS check.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Temporary role with potential to move to five days.

Responsibilities

• Support a Reception pupil 1:1.
• Support the development of the pupil's individual needs.
• Supervise and support the pupil during lunch.
• Use positive behaviour management strategies.
• Support colleagues within the support team.
