Shaw CE Primary School in Wiltshire is seeking a friendly 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a named child, working with the Class Teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted activities and interventions during term-time.

The role is part-time (17.5 hours/week) across 39 weeks, with a fixed-term contract aligned to funding; we value a caring, proactive approach and a commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.

Qualifications

• Experience as teaching assistant with the ability to support a child 1:1.
• Strong relationship-builder with children and families.
• Experience with SEN and SEMH interventions and planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted learning activities and interventions for a named pupil.
• Work with class teacher and SENCO to track progress.
