Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting a 1-1 Teaching Assistant for a Liverpool primary school. The role focuses on supporting a pupil with additional needs one-to-one and within class settings, under teacher direction, to aid progress and engagement.

We seek energetic, proactive, and team-oriented candidates with excellent communication and behavior management. A current enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK are required for this position.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within a school setting is preferred.
• Enhanced DBS and appropriate background checks are required.
• CV should cover the last 10 years of employment where possible.
• Legal right to work in the UK is necessary.

Responsibilities

• One-to-one support for a pupil with additional needs.
• Assist the child in class under the teacher's guidance, mainly one-to-one.
• Support learning activities and monitor progress of individual education plans.
• Collaborate with the SENCO and wider support team.
• Implement routines and tailored intervention plans to support inclusion.
• Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
