Career Teachers is seeking a Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil with ASC in a welcoming Tower Hamlets primary school. You will help access learning, build positive relationships and support regulation throughout the school day.

The ideal candidate will have ASC experience, calm and patient approach, and a passion for helping children with additional needs; football coaching during the day is part of the school's support package.

Competenze

• Experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
• Experience managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour.
• Calm, patient, resilient and able to build positive relationships.
• Value consistency, structure and positive reinforcement.
• Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
• Interest in football or sports is advantageous.

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day.
• Support the pupil's academic, social and emotional development.
• Implement behaviour support strategies consistently and positively.
• Build a trusting and supportive relationship with the pupil.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, parents and external professionals.
