Teaching Personnel Ltd. is partnering with a large welcoming primary school in CF24 area to recruit a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant for the full academic year, starting immediately.

The role involves working one-on-one with a pupil with ALN, in a calm space outside the classroom, to support both academic and emotional development. The successful candidate will join a supportive staff team in a school noted for its friendly atmosphere, with good transport links and on-site parking.

Job description

We are working with a large, welcoming primary school in the CF24 area that is looking to appoint a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. This is a full-time position for the entire academic year, making it an excellent opportunity for someone seeking consistency and the chance to make a real difference in a child's educational journey.

You will be working on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), providing tailored support throughout the school day. The successful candidate will help create a positive learning environment, encourage engagement, and support both academic and emotional development. You will be working outside of the classroom in a quiet and calm space.

• Previous experience working with children is essential, whether in a school, childcare, youth work, coaching, care, or similar setting.
• Experience supporting children with ALN is desirable but not essential.
