TeacherActive Limited. is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs in a Gravesham primary setting. The role focuses on fostering inclusion, dedication, and positive engagement throughout the school day.

The successful candidate will have experience with SEND, strong communication skills, and a calm, adaptable approach to learning support, with PAYE payroll and market-leading pay rates.

Qualifications

Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Location: Northfleet

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £95 - £105 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a primary school in the Gravesham area, supporting pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds. The school is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant who can contribute to an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a short-term basis to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs. The successful Teaching Assistant will need to remain calm, adaptable and responsive, providing personalised support to help the pupil engage positively with their learning and school environment.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
• Excellent experience supporting children with SEND
• Experience providing 1:1 support within a primary school setting
• A calm and collected approach when supporting individual needs
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• An adaptable and patient approach to supporting learning
