Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is working with a primary school in the Gravesham area to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant for short-term 1:1 support.

The successful candidate will provide consistent 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs, remain calm and adaptable, and help the pupil engage with learning and school life throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Desirable Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience supporting children with SEND
• 1:1 support experience within a primary school
• Calm and collected approach when supporting individual needs
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Adaptable and patient approach to learning

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs.
• Help the pupil engage positively with learning and the school environment.

South East/ temporary / £95 - 105 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a primary school in the Gravesham area, supporting pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds. The school is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant who can contribute to an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a short-term basis to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs. The successful Teaching Assistant will need to remain calm, adaptable and responsive, providing personalised support to help the pupil engage positively with their learning and school environment.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
• Excellent experience supporting children with SEND
• Experience providing 1:1 support within a primary school setting
• A calm and collected approach when supporting individual needs
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• An adaptable and patient approach to supporting learning
