Contract/Position Details

• Location: Monmouth
• Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
• Type of work: Carry out professional duties, support groups/1:1 support, ensure pupil safety and welfare, provide 1:1 care, ASD support, ASD trained
• Start Date: Immediate
• Rate of pay: £93 per day, subject to assignment
• Hours: 08:30 – 16:00

Experience

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (not essential)
• Experience working with various SEND conditions
• Experience in inclusive classroom practice
• Understanding how to support teachers effectively in the classroom
• Previous experience supporting learning with a range of strategies, both in groups and on a 1:1 basis

Eligibility Criteria

• Hold the right to work in the UK
• Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to obtain one
• Provide two professional child-related references
