Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Folkestone. This is a full-time, long-term role supporting a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The Role

• Supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis with identified SEND needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech and language delay)
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to implement personalised learning strategies
• Encouraging social interaction, emotional development, and academic progress
• Providing feedback to staff and parents on the pupil’s progress

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with children with SEN in a primary school setting
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach to learning support
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one through Vision for Education)
• Right to work in the UK
• References covering the last 2 years
• Experience supporting SEN
