Job summary

Elevate is seeking a Therapeutic Team Manager to oversee a single 1:1 supported living placement. You will lead the on-site team, ensuring safe, consistent, and high-quality care while building trust with the person supported.

This role emphasizes stability, staff development, and effective placement management. The position requires experience in mental health, learning disabilities, and ASD/ADHD contexts, with a strong values-led approach and commitment to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Must have mental health support experience (2 years)
• Experience in supported living environments (2 years)
• Experience with learning disabilities (1 year)
• Experience with autism (ASD) (1 year)
• Experience with ADHD/FASD (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Take full day-to-day management of a 1:1 placement, ensuring safe, consistent, high-standard support
• Lead, guide, and support the staff team on a day-to-day basis
• Oversee shift coordination with clearly organised duties and rotas
• Proactively manage staffing gaps and arrange additional support as needed
• Build a genuine, trusted relationship with the person supported
• Support relief and agency staff to integrate into the placement
• Promote best practice and consistency in care delivery
• Coach and supervise staff development and performance
• Advise on care planning, risk management, safeguarding
• Liaise with management, family, and professionals involved in the placement
• Carry out appraisals and regular supervision for team wellbeing and improvement
• Act as a professional role model with values-led practice
