Job summary

GCIL South Lanarkshire is seeking a caring Support Worker/Personal Assistant to provide 1:1 support to Graham in East Kilbride. You will assist with personal care, daily tasks, and helping him stay active within the community.

The role requires a warm, friendly, and reliable individual who can communicate well and be flexible to support the wider team. Full training is provided as needed, and a manual mobility vehicle will be driven as part of duties.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, friendly, and caring nature.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and daily tasks.
• Support Graham to get out and about, including pushing a manual wheelchair.
• Provide 1:1 support in a 24-hour shift pattern.
• Be a positive presence in Graham’s life and engage with community activities.
