Job summary

Homecare Direct Limited is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to provide 1:1 support at home and in the community for a gentleman in his late 30s. You will assist with personal care, daily living, meals and mobility, and encourage participation in walks and activities.

The role requires a full driving licence, reliability and a patient, calm, person-centred approach. Training will be provided, and you must be eligible to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months’ previous care experience.
• Experience delivering personal care.
• Full valid driving licence (essential).
• Patient, calm and able to build trusting relationships.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 support at home and in the community.
• Supporting with all aspects of personal care and daily living.
• Assisting with meal preparation and cooking.
• Supporting mobility, comfort and safety.
• Encouraging participation in walks and leisure activities.
• Providing companionship and emotional reassurance.
