Job summary

HomeCare Direct is seeking a compassionate Support Worker/PA/HCA to provide 1:1 in-home support for a client with complex needs in Wansford. The role involves personal care, mobility assistance, and helping the client stay safe and engaged in activities they enjoy, within the community and home environment.

The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and empathetic, with good communication skills and the ability to build trust with the client.

Qualifications

• Experience in care, learning disabilities or ASD is desirable.
• Eligibility to work in the UK; sponsorship/work visas are not provided.
• Patient, reliable and person-centred approach with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support with daily routines and activities.
• Assist with personal care and mobility.
• Support safe movement at home and in the community.
• Assist with medication and health-related tasks as needed.
• Promote independence and emotional well-being through routine and engagement.
