Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting 1:1 Support Assistants to work in welcoming primary schools in Wakefield, with assignments starting in September. You will provide dedicated support to children with SEND, helping them access learning and thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school, care or support setting.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A calm, patient and resilient approach.
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential—relevant experience will also be considered.

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
