Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a 1:1 Support Assistant for a primary school in Wallsend, with September start. The role can be long- or short-term, offering flexible placements and APSCo-compliant onboarding.

You will support pupils one-to-one and in small groups, deliver personalised interventions, and help learners access the curriculum while following EHCP/IEP targets. A caring approach and strong relationship skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Recent experience working in a school or education setting.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or be willing to obtain one).
  • Patience, empathy, and a caring approach.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
