Job summary

Milk Education in Backworth is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Support Assistant to provide focused one-to-one support to children in primary school settings, helping them thrive academically and personally. In this role you will monitor the pupil's progress, collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and parents, adapt resources, promote positive behaviour and build the pupil's confidence and engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience working with children in educational or childcare settings.
• Experience supporting children with additional learning needs (SEND) is desirable.
• Genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning.
• Patient, caring and empathetic approach to supporting children's needs.
• Good organisational skills and ability to record pupil progress accurately.

Responsibilities
