Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a 1:1 Classroom Assistant for a primary school in North Durham. You will support Key Stage 1 and 2 children on a 1:1 and small group basis, helping with independence, communication and self-management, and maintaining safeguarding and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for supporting children's learning.
  • Patience and a calm approach to assisting others
  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar — or equivalent hands-on experience (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Recent experience working in a school or education setting (preferred)

1:1 Classroom Assistant

We are currently hiring for a Classroom Assistant to join a Primary School based in North Durham. This role is to support Key Stage One and Two children on a 1:1 and small group basis, providing additional support for those who need it.
