Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking a Specialist 1-to-1 Study Skills Support Worker for Lincoln University. The role focuses on providing tailored study skills guidance and creating individual learning plans to foster independence in autistic students.

You will support development of organisation, time management, and research skills, with emphasis on appropriate sourcing and referencing. Flexible part-time hours are available, with PAYE pay and weekly timesheet processing.

Qualifications

• Must hold an undergraduate degree (level 6) with a teaching qualification and extensive autism training.
• Experience supporting autistic learners is essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Punctuality, reliability and good organisational skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-to-1 study skills support and guidance tailored to each student.
• Develop individual learning plans and encourage independent learning.
• Help students build on strengths and learning strategies.
• Create strategies for organisation and time management.
• Create action plans to stay on track with studies.
• Enhance research skills and use of diverse sources.
• Distinguish sources accurately and teach proper referencing.
