Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant in Uxbridge to support a pupil with additional needs on a long-term basis. Immediate start and a stimulating school environment await.

You will provide personal care when required, support learning, and work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to promote the pupil's independence and wellbeing, contributing to a positive daily experience at school.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEND.
• Demonstrates nurturing and patient approach.
• Comfortable providing personal care support.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs to access learning and build confidence.
• Assist with daily learning activities and promote independence and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to create a supportive learning environment.
• Support personal care needs when required and maintain pupil dignity and comfort.
