Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment in Sheffield is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Tutor to provide personalised educational support to children and young people who require additional help to access learning. This role suits experienced teachers, tutors or education professionals who thrive working one-to-one.

You will re-engage learners with education, work towards individual targets, and help develop literacy and numeracy, confidence, independence and resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN/SEMH needs.
• Strong knowledge of primary/secondary curricula.
• Proven ability to deliver 1:1 tuition.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Calm, patient, nurturing approach.

Responsibilities

• Re-engage pupils and foster a positive attitude to learning.
• Work towards individual academic targets.
