Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking tutors with SEN experience to provide 1-to-1 support in the Wigan area. The role is part-time with flexible hours during school terms, covering students with SEN needs.

You will deliver learning plans, be patient and empathetic, and report weekly progress. Eligibility includes right to work in the UK and a DBS check; QTS or tutoring experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent or tutoring experience.
• UK classroom teaching experience preferred but not essential.
• Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box.
• Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-to-1 SEN tutoring support.
• Create and deliver learning plans for individual pupils.
• Submit weekly progress reports on pupil development.
