Job summary

Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for an experienced 1:1 Tutor in Staffordshire, ideally with experience within a SEN setting.

We are a Teaching Agency, that strives to make a positive impact in young peoples lives by supporting their development and education. Our Children's Education Team work with local authorities throughout the Midlands to support vulnerable pupils currently outside of mainstream education.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent tutoring experience is required.
• Experience working with pupils in a SEN setting is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to create and deliver learning plans for 1:1 sessions.
• 2 years of professional references is expected.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver 1:1 learning plans for pupils.
• Monitor progress and submit weekly reports to Prospero Teaching.
• Deliver sessions during school daytime hours (often 8am–4pm) and occasional after-school/evening sessions.
• Support pupil development and help re-engage students in learning.
