Job summary

Academics Ltd in Bristol is seeking a compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support primary and secondary pupils with additional needs across Bristol schools. The role focuses on helping pupils overcome barriers to learning, building confidence and participation in lessons.

You will work closely with teachers, implement targeted strategies, and maintain open communication with parents to track progress. DBS clearance is preferred and references are required for application.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people
• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Two recent professional references
