Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs within primary schools across Peterborough. You will help learners develop confidence and skills while building positive relationships.

The ideal candidate will have patience, empathy and strong communication, with experience in school or care settings. Roles offer full-time and part-time placements across local primary schools.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with special educational needs is desirable.
• Previous experience in a school, care, nursery or youth support setting would be beneficial.
• A patient, empathetic and positive approach.
• Confidence working with children who may require additional emotional or behavioural support.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Aspire People are recruiting for dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs within primary schools across Peterborough.

These opportunities are ideal for individuals who enjoy building positive relationships, providing consistent support and helping children develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed.

You may be supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, learning needs or social and emotional challenges.

The Role:

As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
